The Greater Fort Myers Beach Area Chamber of Commerce is the heartbeat of our island’s business community. For decades, we’ve championed local businesses, welcomed visitors from around the world, and worked to protect the character that makes Fort Myers Beach so special.
Our Mission
Our goal is simple: to sustain a vibrant business climate, promote commerce, champion the interests of local businesses, and protect the essence of the Fort Myers Beach community. We’re here to help our members prosper and grow — and to keep our island thriving for generations to come.
What We Do
As both a business membership organization and the island’s official source for visitor information, we wear many hats:
- Support local businesses through networking, promotion, advocacy, and resources.
- Welcome visitors with trusted information about where to stay, dine, play, and explore.
- Host events including monthly networking, seminars, fundraisers, and signature community celebrations like the American Sand Sculpting Championship, the Christmas Boat Parade, and our annual Golf Tournament.
- Advocate for our community on the issues that matter to island businesses, our non-profit partners, and residents.
- Protect our waters through the FMB Chamber Water Foundation, our environmental 501(c)3 arm.
Meet Roxie — Our Fort Myers Beach Visitor Information Center
Roxie is the Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce’s Visitor Information Center, proudly located in the heart of Times Square—the island’s most iconic gathering place and the first stop for countless visitors arriving on Fort Myers Beach. Positioned at the base of the Matanzas Pass Bridge and adjacent to the future Fort Myers Beach Pier, Roxie serves as a welcoming gateway to our island community.
Named in honor of beloved island ambassador Roxie Smith, our charming tiny-home Visitor Center reflects the warm hospitality that has long defined Fort Myers Beach. Staffed seven days a week from 10:00 a.m. until dusk, Roxie provides visitors with personalized recommendations, maps, event information, dining and lodging suggestions, attraction details, transportation assistance, coupons, welcome bags, and insider tips that help guests experience the very best our island has to offer.
More than just an information center, Roxie plays a vital role in supporting the local economy by connecting visitors with Chamber member businesses and non-profits, and encouraging them to shop, dine, stay, and explore throughout Fort Myers Beach. Every conversation helps create memorable experiences for our guests while strengthening our business community.

The Chamber is guided by a dedicated Board of Directors, an experienced staff, and a team of volunteer Ambassadors who help welcome new members and support Chamber events. Together, our leadership works year-round to serve our members and strengthen the local economy.
